What is the quanity of fuel in the tank? Is it at around 1/4 or less?

Does having more fuel in the tank help at all?

Don't fill the tank, just add another 1/4 tank or so.

If the situation improves with more fuel in the tank, you're probably sucking air through a leak in the fuel pickup inside the tank. Raising the level of fuel to a point above the leak will in effect stop it from sucking air. If that's the case, then you're a candidate for a "Hutch" mod.

Don't rule out that in your "mixing chamber" on the fuel pick up there are two screens inside of it. If these screens are plugged it may make you pump struggle alot to pull the fuel out of the tanks.

don't discount the click lock fittings on the fuel lines either.
you can upgrade them with a piece of diesel fuel hose and eliminate 2-3 of them around the pump. they are known to leak.

You might want to "harpoon" the tank too as long as your in there.

"harpoon"? which mod is that?

Cutting off the extension of the tank vent that extends into the tank. It allows faster fill-ups where you can top off the tank all at once versus clicking the pump nozzle 1/10 of a gallon at a whack to get that last 2-3 gallons in.
