Question fuel pump issue again?

well it seems like fuel pump is going south again. was replaced last December.
even when they replaced last year, it seemed a little bit louder then the original, but the truck worked good. i am going try to hook up a fuel pressure guages and see what the psi is, but i am sure it will read low, do to the noise it is making....


just have to figure out why?????

yep, fuel pump is shot....all it can do to get up to 50 mph....


anybody else have fuel pump problems?????

I have never heard of multiple failures either, makes me think something is causing it to fail.

alex, are u still running the b20? could that be it - and or- a combination of the additives you are using?

yeah i was using anywhere from B5-B20(with additives), depending what time of the year. i am now just using regular ULSD. yeah i am a little hesitant on what i will be putting in my fuel........OR, it could be the bad luck thing....


on a side note, i have changed the fuel filters regularly and they never seemed too dirty when i did....even Ford couldn`t explain the pump failure....
