Fuel prices?

Just a bit of info I received the other day and thought I'd pass it along. Hadnt had much time to research it to make sure its true but here it is.......... Don't you think it might be of interest to know which oil companies import Middle Eastern oil and which do not?


These companies import Middle Eastern oil:


Shell................................... 205,742,000 barrels

Chevron/Texaco.................. 144,332,000 barrels

Exxon /Mobil....................... 130,082,000 barrels

Marathon/Speedway............ 117,740,000 barrels

Amoco................................ 62,231,000 barrels



And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! (We pay Chavez’s regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)


The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $95 per barrel, that's over $524 million PER DAY ($191 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!!



Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

Sunoco....................... 0 barrels
Conoco....................... 0 barrels
Sinclair....................... 0 barrels
BP / Phillips................ 0 barrels

Hess. ................................................. 0 barrels
ARC0.......................................... 0 barrels

Maverick...................... 0 barrels

Flying J. ........................................... 0 barrels

Valero.......................... 0 barrels

All of this information is available from the U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing... So i guess I'll be hitting these places up for fuel! If anybody has anymore info on this let me know.

I have seen those stats before. That is the main reaon why I love Hess stations.

King0581, I was in the fuel tanker buss. and they all buy fuel from each other. If BP / Phillips runs out, they buy from CITGO, Shell, Chevron. They all have there hand in it. They will shake your hand and stab you in the back at the same time.

Several years ago T. Boone Pickens accurately predicted $100.00 per barrel oil.........today he predicted $150.00 per barrel within two years.

Buy stock in those companies..............

I work for one of those outfits that imports 0 bbls from the middle east. We also took one heluva hit when Chavez nationalized his fields and essentially "stole" oil and production equipment from us and the other producers in that region.

One of those companies listed above is in litigation against Chavez in world court (however that works?) right now. If there is a positive outcome then we might see more oil flowing from Venezuela again.

Theres a typo in there also. Its BP/Amoco not BP/Phillips. Phillips paired up with Conoco about 5 years ago.

I like the idea of deep water oil rigs off the coast of Venezuela about 40 to 60miles out and drill sideways into the oil fields......LOL They could not do crap Internal waters.
