since we are this topic, diesel went up 10 cents a liter this past week....it is now at 1.19 a litre which is 5.40 a cdn gallon and 4.50 a US gallon....now the gas prices are 10-15 cents a liter cheaper............just wanted to pass this along.....

most diesel prices are $3.99 (usd) per
gallon...where GASOLINE is $3.19 !?!

Prices for Diesel are $3.93 to $4.30 per gallon today. On average it is over $4.16 per gallon.
Looks like our trip is going to be a costly one for fuel.
Last year, I figured it would cost around $3,000 now it looks like over $4,000 and by summer it might be $5,000 for fuel to take the trip.
Oh well, thats the way it goes.

Like our stupid governer in Michigan she wanted to raise it 19 cents last year for road tax that they will spend for something else. Don't even get me started on this tax crap in Michigan.

The price of fuel went up after we got to south Texas. It cost us about
$350. to get here and looks like it will be about $450. to get back home.
Plan on leaving in the morning, so may be missing for a few days.
