What are the benefits of adding this to my cuurent system? I understand better throttle response and such, but is this still true after chipping the truck?

Thanks,

David

Yes even with a chip you will notice a difference. The upped pressure will help the barrel of the injector fill properly. Next step would be to get rid of the dead end fuel system with a regulated return.

David if the regulated return isn't in the budget at this time I can shim your 7.3L if you like, just take 10-15 mins tops to prep and install. You'll like how your truck responds and sounds afterwards.

The benefits are good even with a stock system.

thanks, I may take you up on that. I do not have a fuel pressure gauge that goes over 60psi. I might wait till my next "mileage expense" check and do the regulated return too.

I'll slap a test gauge on it to get the PSI just right then when you go to tackle the Regulated Return system I can help you with that as well.
