fuel milage

Hello Everyone i Went snow machining in island park yesterday and pulled my 4 place trailer and my fuel milage sucked went 250 miles round trip and used almost a full tank not sure what is going on. The tk was just serviced oil and fuel filter i always got about 400 + miles to a tank run like a champ can anyone help. Maybe the injectors are getting weak the Truck has 147000 miles on it now. Any input would be nice Thanks

What engine do you have? There are two on that year, 6.0 or 7.3.

When towing our TT I range 9 MPG+/-

Fuel pressure in our case has alot to do with mileage. What you have your FPR shimmed to? Can't forget ya'll are running winter blend up there,perhaps adding some 2 cycle to your fuel may help.

Get your coolant temp up with a 203 thermo from Dieselsite,that'll help get a more complete burn when the fuel sprays in the cylinders.
