I found someone who will sell me a F550 rear tank for a reasonable $:) , actually comparable $ to a very used OBS stock tank:D , and much less than a new tank:tounge .
My question for you SD:)hail ) people is this: What is the resistance of the sending unit on full and empty?
This is the last information hurdle I need to cross:thumbs . The rest will be fitting & fabrication:sly :thumbs  . I'd like to use the stock SD sending unit:sweet , but if it's not the right range then I'll have to mod my OBS one:D  .
I'll let you know how it goes.:thumbs :woo :nutkick: :cowboy: :thanks

Sorry about all the smilies.:sorry :dunno :)D ) I can't resist.

:thanks

Hello danjreed and welcome to SSD.com. Sorry I can't help you with your question, but I am sure someone will be along soon to help you out.
How about filling out your signature and telling us about you truck and where you are from.
Good luck on your fuel tank.

My DVD does not show the resistance for the float and the gauge. Sorry but Ford is keeping that a closely guarded secret. :)
