I went and spent the 75 bucks from Ford for the fuel filters. Just got the truck a month ago and went to change the filter on the engine. Well, the housing was cracked. Nothing bad, it's just that the 4 corners were cracked where you install the 1/2 drive ratchet. I still tried to remove it and the whole dang thing broke off. It's not leaking or anything but once I somehow get it off, I won't be able to put it back on.
The dealer wants another 75 bucks for the cap. Is there anywere else to get one cheaper? I already tried the junk yards.
Thanks!

I believe it is only the top cap,
if it was me I would take the filters back to ford and get your money back and go to advance auto parts or another local parts store and buy the same motorcraft filters for $45
