Fuel economy

I'm now in Washington and without the trailer attached I'm getting 18.5mpg. 3,300 miles on the clock. I'm happy with that

I was averaging 18.9 until i changed both my fuel filters, now i'm getting 15.2. don't know why.

Re-install the Fuel Filters.. Check for good Air Tight seals around all gaskets and O rings ? Air intrusion in to the fuel system is not a Good thing.

does anybody add any thing to there fuel to lubricate the injectors. I use to add a quart of tranny fluid to my tank once a month. put 180k on it befor I sold it. must have been good for it.

get around 17 normal driving on highway. towing was down to 10 with a 11000 pound trailer

I run a jug of Power Service, Diesel Kleen (Grey jug/Walmart) in my 6.7.. in every tank. Now & then I run without it.. just because. Ford recommends [their brand] but they want to much $ for it.
