What is your average all around mileage with the 6.7? I realize this is rather subjective, as everybody drives differently and in different conditions. I'd like to hear more about your mileage empty, because we will probably use our puller as our every day driver as well. The puller we likely will get will be an F350 SRW 4X4 crew cab.

My lie-o-meter say 15-15.5mpg when I fill up weekly and thats mixed towing a power washing trailer and around town in traffic. I ran a 200 or so mile trip empty and it said 19.2 and I have all the emissions garbage still. Im hoping to gain a little MPG once the she can breath.

For my daily drive I average 13-15. A lot depends on how traffic is. My commute is about 15 miles one way with a mix of street and freeway. On a long trip I see 19-20. That's unloaded of course. It's still 100% stock and a little over 10k miles. I've read the mileage gets better up to 15k.

The lie-o-meter on my Explorer is always more optimistic than my calculator is. Thanks for the responses!

I just got my '13 crew cab, short bed 4x4 but I've put about 1,500 miles on it over the weekend. Mostly highway driving I'm averaging about 19.2mpg. Mixed A/C and windows down. Empty truck besides me, my wife and 3 kids.

I just bought a 2017 F250 4x4 Crewcab. Driving it around the Phoenix area I'm getting about 16mpg. That's going around 75mph on the freeways but also a lot of in town 35mph driving. I just hauled my 30 foot travel trailer to Washington State and averaged 10mpg. That might seem like poor economy but I drove at or slightly above the posted limit. Why? Because this truck has the power to do so. If the speed limit was 80mph I stuck pretty close to that. 75 and I ran closer to 80. 70 and I was around 75-78. A lot of miles were spent tooling along at the 80 mark. This is my first diesel and I had a great time passing other rigs especially while going uphill. My truck only has 3,000 miles on it and I was told that it starts to run a little better at the 15k mark. As a benchmark my previous truck, a 5.4l gas F150, averaged 6mpg on this same stretch but without the power to pass or even to keep up.

That sounds about right. I saw mpg increase until 15k. I think it got a touch better at 25k. I have learned that 75 is max for decent mpg. After that it drops pretty fast. I was getting 14-15 following a friend to WA. We were doing 80-85 because he was in a Mazda 3.
