I get about 17 -18 mpg highway in the summer on summer fuel. In the winter around town, it's significantly less. Most likely because of winter blended fuel, using 4wd and taking much more to get everything warmed up to normal operating temps.
8-11mpg towing, 10-12mpg city, maybe 14mpg highway. I had the dealer hook up a scan tool and give me a printout of 65mph fuel mileage and it was 14.1mpg with the stock tires. They said NORMAL mpg. The 7.3 did alot better.
Just got back yesterday from a 1200 mile round trip to Phoenix for the holidays plus some running around while I was there. Had at least 3 fill-ups in the 17-18 mpg range. A lot of this was running 75 on I-70 and I-10.
Just came in from my cabin in the smokies. I got 17.6 going up to the cabin and 16.6 coming back but I sat in traffic coming back for an hour and a half delay around Chattanooga. Coming back was also 25 degrees cooler if you think that made a difference.
