front replacement

probably answering my own question...buuuut, will a front replacement off a 99 fit an 05? i have a brush guard off an 03 on my 05 and all i had to modify with that was the tits that slide under the bumper had to be ground off.
now the only problem i can think of with a replacement from a 99 is going to be the fact that the grill on the 05 is slightly taller than its predecessor....


only reason why i ask is because my buddy has it for sale and i wouldnt mind paying very little for a front replacement...

Why would you want you 2005 truck to look like it's a 1999 truck.
The front bumbers are not the same.

i know they are not the same... my grill guard off an 03 looks like it came made for my truck... the mounting on the bumpers are the same, my concern is the grill being to big... i may just have to take my bumper off and hold that one up to it and see...

x2.... I think the 99-03 is the better looking of the SuperDuties....... I do not like the huge flat bars in the 05-07 Grill....

i like em better than the 08-12 models...lol all in all super duties are way cleaner than the others!!
