I bought a truck in a state where there is no plate on the front and i Live in a two plate state. Does anybody know of a bracket that bolts to the underside of the bumper? Does anybody have any pics of where the plate is located and maybe i could make it? Thanks

I never run a front tag on any of our cars or trucks....
ive been stopped and warned for it ONCE (in 30+ yrs).

Sametime though ive got some friends that were recently
stopped and ticketed for it...its not a moving violation so
it doesnt really matter BUT...its still a "tax"

ive been told that houston is cracking down on it...but
i cant say other than this one friend, that ive seen it.

i keep the front tag in the rear seat pocket & figure if i
get stopped for it ill just plead stupid and zip tie it on
in front of the cop, say oh man it came off in the car
wash and ive been meaning to put it back on....here let
me do it right now...thanks for the reminder.....

I have a peeve about not having the front plate on. Some *****hole at the grocery store backed into my wife's car, got out, looked, and left. She watched it on the store's video but because he didnt have the front plate, we never got him for it. I sure would like to find that sleezebag.

actually we have a jersey guy but he got slapped down recently and hasnt been posting. Guess he got offended.

one option, depending on your bumper, could be to drill two small holes and bolt the plate directly.

just stop at your local ford dealer and grab a plate mount, its pretty cheap and well worth it for the factory look, it should come with the rivets too.
