I went to crank the truck and with the key in on position, idiot lights and wait to start light flash on and off, tach and fuel gauge bounce around, volt and oil gauges drop to the low end, and there is a fast clicking coming from near the firewall on drivers side. The windshield wipers have come on a couple of times. Batteries are good, connections are clean and tight. I replaced the CPS, no change.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

A typical symptom that occurs with bad batteries.........

Don't guess, pull em and go get em checked. If one is bad replace both.

Yeap,

It probably is batts ;)

I am guessing DEAD Cells on One if not BOTH!!!!!

BTW, Autozone has mail in gift cards with purchase of Batteries right now :D

Just bought a Batt for the GF's car and getting a $10 Gift Card in the mail :D

I can allways use that, spend too much money at AZ anyways ;)

I had the PCM go bad on my 03, and I've had the batteries go bad. Both were similar events, but with the batteries, I got a clicking sound. When the PCM was bad, no clicking.

I had the batteries load tested tonight, and sure enough, one was gone and the other was close behind it. This is the first time I've had batteries die in stages, rather than just completely dead all at once. I just started vet school this week, and time and money are in even shorter supply, so I'm glad it was nothing major. Thanks for all the input. :hail
