Tee hee, Bama. I cannot defend the loss to Illinois, but we beat the Wolverines and thats what counts. In all seriousness, those are very nice pictures. I love college football and your pictures remind me why. BTW, I do appreciate the BAMA band, but if you ever see Script Ohio, you will know why they call them The Best Damn Band in the Land.

And I only hope I can find a woman with OSU tickets

As long as we beat Auburn this weekend, Alabama fans are pretty forgiving for a so so season.

We have lost the last 5 to Auburn and it hurts all year 'round too. :(

Bama, this article: The News Star - www.thenewsstar.com - Monroe, LA claims that Nick Saban is comparing The Tide's loss to 9-11 and Pearl Harbor.

You gotta read the whole thing T, and yes the media can blow things out of proportion and twist what people say.

Saban didn't compare the embarrassing 21-14 loss to Louisiana-Monroe to those events, but picked those historical references to illustrate that this could be a pivotal week for the Crimson Tide.

A Saban spokesman said the coach chose the 9-11 and Pearl Harbor references to illustrate this could be a pivotal week for the Crimson Tide.

"What Coach Saban said did not correlate losing a football game with tragedy, everyone needs to understand that. He was not equating losing football games to those catastrophic events," football spokesman Jeff Purington said in a statement to The Associated Press. "The message was that true spirit and unity become evident in the most difficult of times. Those were two tremendous examples that everyone can identify with."

College football is totally different when you are there in person. I watched alot of games on tv, but went to a wolverines game last year for the first time boy was it sweet. It poured for a little, but just part of the experience. Oh and parking was free a couple miles from the stadium :roflmao. It helps when you know the back roads of Ann Arbor when everybody is trying to leave.

Yep, the media can definitely get things screwed up. As you can see, this was the local paper for ULM, so they were definitely "slanted" in favor of ULM.

Speaking of football, the Grambling-Southern game on Saturday in New Orleans should be a good one, especially the bands.
