The wires are in the harness that goes up to the hood light and i have no idea what they are for. Neone have any idea?

Customer access wires--there should be same-colored, non-used wires on the other side of the firewall.

They are customer access wires. They allow you to wire item under the hood into your truck, without cutting or poking through the fire wall.

That's good to know. I got the truck used and was worried sum1 did a chop job on the wires. Thanxs for info really appreciate it!

They are actually behind & above your emergency brake release, and they are nice to have.
theyre called "customer access wires" theyre nothing more
than SHORT wires (attach to nothing) for the owners use.
the production lines done the owner a small favor by passing
the wires thru the fire wall for you.
where you connect these wired is up to the owner.
in my opinion the wires arent substantial enough for much more than
a few amps load...certainly not enough for any serious audio equipment.

I used them for my gauges, which have a small current load.
