foul smell in cab, no power, hissing noise

04 superduty 175,000 miles, cant get power when pulling, goes in overdrive and smell and smoke in cab, smells like diesel and oil and makes eyes burn. Whats up with that ? any help is greatly appreciated.

Thought this was answered on another board? Guess there was a cracked or broken up pipe to the turbo... that would account for the hiss, and generally obnoxious fumes.

I'm not certain what you mean that "it goes in O.D.". By itself? Anyway, I had exhaust smell in my cab, and it was a poor connection at the y-pipe after turbo. Is your trans. slipping,getting hot? If you haven't already,check for leaks/ fluid level, let us know how you make out, good luck!

T.S.B. 05-13-9, (exhaust smell in cab). Check out intellidog.com and go to 6.0 Bulletins. I'm sorry I don't know how to do the click/link thing yet. Hope this helps.
