Forum Sites (Including SDD) Banned At Work

WHEN I worked ... at a .mil/.gov, I told the Watch Dog/Big Brother folks that I used this Site as a resorce for "Diesel related Equipment Maintenence & Parts Availability". (we did'nt have any PSD's, but what the hey)

I just Deleted all Cookies and History... once/twice a week.

Worked for me .

I'm like'n this Retirement thing.. Busy do'n what I wana Do.. When I wana do it. OR.. Not do'n stuff >Right now< cuz I don't wana.

I clear teh temps and cookies every mon now it seems to help with big brother

My company has banned all sites with "forum" in the IP address, so I won't get to post at work any longer.

As for the "other site", it deserves to be banned. But ya know how to get to use this site at work? Talk the IT manager into getting a Powerstroke!!

I learned that if you get the IP numbers vice the words you can backdooor into here

Sorry to hear that, Wayne. You might try bringing one of the 'puter guys a six-back to "let it slide". Most computer geeks I know will work for beer! (I know I do)

If not, I'll just try every so often to see if they lift the ban.
