Ford vs IH parts price?

i priced a complete remaned head from IH at 350 bucks then i priced the same part at ford and they wanted 550 for the same head i told them that ih had it for 350 they said no way that it was complete so i called ih put him on speaker and ask if complete he said he know for a fact that it is complete the guys at ford got pissed and walked away from me

Thank You. I like to hear these stories. I'm forbidden to buy parts at my local Ford dealer after an incident there ...no loss. The IH dealer is 30 minutes away.

that makes the second dealer that is mad at me. i have one that wont even speak in there sales or parts side but the service is real cool to me they give free parts i guess they don't like someone who shops around for good prices
