when you reinstall the chip you dont need to disconnect the batteries.just turn the ignition off,remove keys and throw them on the floor.

sorry this is probably a little late but you did check all the fuses under the hood and dash?sometimes strange things like the fuel heater shorting out will happen while you tweak on something that has nothing to do with it.

i didnt check any fuses, i was going to but i totaly forgot..ill look at some tomarow, and i have even better news about the autozone pcm..its got a three month warranty!!!
