New Reflash for Injector Cycle.

FYI: THIS IS NOT ME. SOMEONE ELSES POST
I went to schedule my truck for some warranty work today, and as I was telling the diesel tech about my problem(ABS code & poor mpg) I also mentioned that I did not want that 05E17 reflash. He told me that as of Feb. 7th they're not going to be doing the reflash that cycles the injectors anymore. Just wondering if anybody else has heard anything about this.

has anyone heard of this yet? and what now would be disconnected?
now they say last flash is 'not needed' and won't be doing it anymore.

I have the latest flash, it cycles the injectors for approx 30 seconds after shutdown, expelling the oil from the injectors, gives much better cold starts. I dunno what your tech is talking about, that flash did wonders for my truck.

If I may ask red, why do you not want the latest reflashes????

as for me and flashes; i am up for anything that impoves my situation....

I too have had the Flash Update and my truck runs so much better! It seems to have smoother starts and runs smoother on the freeway!
