It's at a salvage auction in texas, selling the whole thing, it does have the 6.4, and it's only got 1400 miles on it. I would love to buy it because it would be such an easy fix and easy seller, but I just don't have the money right now for another rebuilder, got too many now anyways, but it doesn't have a sale date yet so maybe by the time it's ready I'll be able to bid on it. I've seen rigs sit at the auction anywhere from a couple weeks to 6 or more months before they're put up for sale, waiting on paperwork usually.

I bet since it's such an easy fix and most of the parts it needs are so easy to get (bed, door, and cab corner could be gotten from any '99 or newer, I've even got a bed already), It will go for well over $20,000 as is, and I doubt anyone would part it out because of how little it needs and how valuable it is :sorry . We'll see how it works out. If I can sell one of the rebuilder crewcabs in a couple weeks I may have enough funds to DREAM about getting it :roflmao

I was right there with you on that until I looked hard at one on the 'lots here (making a parts list). They actually recessed the fender vent, its not sitting on the surface. I'm all for poppin some holes in the fenders for the sake of combating "common truck syndrome", but in order for it to look right it would need to be recessed. It might be easier to cut the needed section out of a donor fender and weld it into yours then have the fender painted. Has anyone noticed the '08 tail lights? Kinda different, huh? They should fit 99 and newer. :2c :2c

yeah i noticed that too....surely we can figure out a way to make them work...i'd have to have one in my hands to get a better idea...i really don't feel like cutting into my fender...although its not out of the question.
