First start romping (warm out)

Did a search...all I could find was glow plug suggestions.
Truck started fine all winter. New batteries.

Past week it either cranks and doesn't kick over or it romps for a minute before settling down into normal idle. 63 degrees out this morning.
Only the first start of the day. Every other start is no problem.
Runs and drives normal.
Any suggestions?

what oil are you running?

my romps went away switching to syn or semi syn oil.

romps were worst with dino oil, both rotella and motorcraft. first start, about 30 seconds then went away. shook the whole truck.

went to rotella blue bottle year round.

I'm running Mobil 1 synthetic. About halfway through my oil change time. Just started happening. I'll give it a shot tho..thanks

Just for S&G's buy your next tank of fuel some where else and see if it makes any difference.

Could fuel pressure have something to do with it? I recently replaced my FRX and used the higher pressure spring.
Tried the oil and fuel change -no difference.

The IPR could be a little flaky.

i have seen injectors cuase a problem like this also

I am with dp on this one. Change to oil to Synthetic Oil, 5W40 and try it. This is the easiest and CHEAPEST thing to try. If this does not solve your problem, next try scanning your truck and see if you get any injector codes.
