You can use a volt/ohm meter and measure from the tip of the glow plug to the ground. If it is good, you should see about one ohm. If it is open (no reading or infinity) then it is bad.

How many miles are on your New To You 7.3 ?

Do you have Scanner ? Or access to one ?

Is your "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light on (?), on the dash ?

Do you have the tools, skills and a place to work on your stuff ?

Have you used the SEARCH, DIY/Wiki feature here on SDD.COM ?

RIGHT NOW......The best thing NOT to do is: Use Ether ! It can be Very harmfull to your engine, Very Quik.

The Water In The Fuel light means.. you need to drain, and clean your fuel filter bowl, AND change the filter.

At 151K.. You might/probably need to replace the Glow Plug relay, and all 8 Glow Plugs.

Good place to get it scanned.. then make the Call on replaceing what needs to be replaced.

tested gps there not all working thanks guys uv been big help. sure ill have more questions
