anybody ever used these tires before? if so, how did you like them.

my cousin the dealer has a F350XLT with these tires on it, almost new tires, and i was thinking about trading him a set of lariat wheels for the tires, if he will.

also, how much do they cost???? thanks.

To give you a starting point check out the rack's Survey and also their pricing.

They look really good from a performance standpoint:sweet

yep, these are D load range tires. they may not matter tho, i dont pull a trailer anymore.

but, i checked the tread depth with my gauge, and the front tires had about 8/32 on each, and the rears have 12/32.

dont think i will go for it.

the 265's on my truck look so small now, after i had the 1.5" add-a-leaf spring added to the front.

if i could make a good trade for some BFG's that are 285/75R/16, i think that would feel the wheel well up better.

just thinkin out loud.

good choice on passing on those tires.... i had a set on a previous truck and wasn`t to happy with them, but i haven`t been a firestone tire fan anyway...

i have been thinking about 285, but i might even go to 305, or even 315`s....
haven`t decided yet....:sly ....:D

Bama and ATK,

If you want to run a little bigger tire with a "stock" stance I run 305/70R/16 on my truck. They only rub on really tight turns. It is a 2002 7.3, not sure on the clearence with ya'lls body style, and I'm not exactly sure how the tire sizes work. 285/75R/16 vs. 305/70R/16 = same size?

hey ben, can answer me this. i have always been confused as to exactly what the numbers mean, exxcept for the rim size. so what do they mean.

for example, my tires: 265??? 75R???

i'm sure it has something to do with tread thickness, or tire width, im not sure.

BTW. i just had a 1.5" add-a-leaf installed, so the stance looks really great now, but the 265's seem so small on it.

I'm not really sure myself Stephen. Correct me if I'm wrong guys (and I'm sure I am) but I believe the larger number using a 305/70R/16 is the width in millimeters and the 70 is the percent of the sidewall height based on the width of the tire.
