Yep, in-laws Regal made it in about 2 weeks ago, but the dealer told them right up front he needed at least a few days to go over it and make sure everything is up to par. Didn't want them rushing right down before HE could look over it first. Called and told them earlier in the week that everything checked out fine except the microwave. Didn't like how the door worked so he ordered a replacement. Said the coach is "gorgeous" otherwise.

Like we talked before, a GOOD dealer is essential with the way these things are slapped together. Proper PDI and service after the sale is the key. No unit pushers! We've been there and it is very unpleasant. Sounds like you have a respectable dealer who will treat you right.

We all want pics when she comes home! Show and tell!

Sounds like the dealer at least trys to get them road ready for you before you leave out. Be sure to check out all water lines and water heater for a day or two before you pull out. Sink traps are a good place for leaks and need to be checked every 3000 to 5000 miles. They do work lose some times.

bad news...

We just got back from the rv dealer, and he said that at final inspection at the factory they found a bent rod that works with the slideout. Makes me wonder what made it bend? Misalignment? He said that they had to cut the bent one out and weld a new one in.
Anyway, the unit is now scheduled to arrive Friday.
I just hope that they have it all in good shape before they deliver it.
