Finally Picked Up My 2007!!

First off hello everyone, as you can see this is my first post, lots of great info on here!

Well I am happy to report the buy-back from FMC is completed, I picked up my Dark Shadow Grey F250 Lariat 4x4 6.0 Liter PSD today. I have to say right off the bat it runs much nicer than my previous 2003 6.0 PSD.

I do have a question, I looked under the hood and the 2007 has a completely different turbo setup than my 2003. Did they in fact change the turbo setup...I never knew that.

Anyhow, so far so good...I will get some pics up later ('cause I am sure none of you have seen a stock F250...lol)

Actually the reason for the delay is that the dealer I WAS dealing with decided to sell the vehicle I had chosen for the swap and did not have any others that I wanted. After talking to FMC, they had me go to another dealer who received a duplicate of the vehicle I had previously chosen. So once that vehicle arrived, it only took a day or two.

To be honest, Ford was very cool about this whole process, they gave me credit for my lift, wheels, tires, and gauges, and are replacing all my navigation and audio equipment in my new vehicle.

i'm guessing that FMC wouldn't let you take out your stuff from your '03?

maybe to help it resale once all of its issues were ironed out?

Actually they asked if I wanted to take out the Navigation, Satellite, DVD, and whatnot, I told them I would rather leave it in there and just have them replace it...which they are doing.

I did take out the speakers and amps, FMC requested that I do this.

From my understanding, the vehicle is going to auction.

you are correct about going to auction, i transport ford buy backs for TX, LA, MS, AL, TN, AR, GA, SC, NC. they take them to a regional dealer for repairs, diagnostics, etc to get them ready for auction.
