PSD or bust!
As you can tell by my signature, I used to be a 7.3 PSD owner (it was too big/tall for the wife with a new baby)...and am finally back to the PSD club! I looked around for a good used 7.3 first after all the problems my in-laws had with their '03 6.0 PSD, but couldn't find one that anyone would part with that didn't have a truck load of miles on it, so I had to give up and go get a new one (the wife signed the papers too!). I was gonna get a Dodge, but the dealer thought his Mexican made truck was worth more than it is and my trade was worth practically nothing, so I went over to the Ford store and the rest is American made history! (I got the extended bumper to bumper warranty for about half price while I was at it, so I at least have 7 years of someone else paying for any problems...)
The people I talked to said they fixed the 6.0 problems for the 05+ models, hopefully they were right. I don't have $$$ left for mods after droppin 38 big ones on a new truck...I couldn't even afford a decent set of rubbers to replace the Perelli street tires that came on the truck! My main concern is if the new ULSD fuel is giving anyone problems and if there is an additive that I should be using...
