Few questions about first half 99 7.3L

I got an early 99 that just turned 220K. No probs so far. The cup thrower is a pita!!!

You can upgrade that cup thrower with some tape and a silly straw.

Or the 2000 and up holder.

I got a 2000 trk, not to many problem, nothing out of the ordinary. Im a lil over 267k and it still going strong, got to put new glow plugs asap though.

I got an early 99 with 160K miles now and it runs like a champ!
There are a few differences with the later models but it's still a good solid truck.
Oh and I put a cupholder from an '02 in it, so no more cup-thrower!

So does the newer cup holder just slide in place of the old one or is there new tracks that need to be installed.
