Factory tech valve body... Good tranny mod?

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to have the mod on a stock truck... but you may find it shifts too harsh. I did a transgo tugger kit myself which goes through all the valve bodies, the pump and greatly improved my shifting with the added power of the edge. But I sold my edge and I'm in between buying gauges and power again and my tranny almost shifts too hard at 'stock' power again.

yes there is a diff as I understand it between a vb setup for a lightning and a vb setup for a powerstroke... the lightning vb will be too harsh in the powerstroke

I called and found that the vavle body will work fine in the 4r100 in my powerstroke... They said its not going to shift any harder than it would feel in the Lightning. They can set them firmer for "race" applications, but I've just got the regular one. I'll put it in and let you guys know!
