Question factory boost guage

I'm curious whether Ford supplies a stiffer spring now, or the stock spring actually loses that much resistance in only 24,000 miles. Thanks for your reply 2Stroker. Oh... Did you notice any seat of the pants performance improvement? Bob

The new spring is about 1/8" longer and a different color so i do not think the spring lost any resistance. There is a BB trick that some are doing, but with 24000 miles and 6 years left on warranty the BB was not for me and there was no difference in performance, all i know is that pulling a 140000 lb 5er i do not want my injector to go hungry because low fuel pressure will kill them. I think this should have been a Ford recall, why did they make a new spring, maybe they are running out of injectors. Hope this helps 2 stroker
