Question for you guys with 2008 F450. What is your insurance carrier and how much per year? I have been with state farm for a year and increased from 1200.00 dollars per year to 3000.00 per year. They said the VIN # they had was one digit off and it was an increase because it is a different truck. I called a few other insurance agency and they are all around the same.

State Farm $1,416, up from $1,296 as my summer vehicle is off the road making F450 my primary vehicle.

Keep looking around.

I pay State Farm $3072 a year for insurance on a 05 F150, 96' F350, 95' Explorer, 75 F250, 07' Honda Rancher, 06' Honda Rubicon, 06 Jetcraft XS jetboat and a 06' Adventurer Camper. Me thinks that it should be more than $72 less for one 08'. Did you try Geico?

Insurance rates also have a lot to do with your driving record, city you live in, and many other things. I'm sure the price of insuring a 450 vs. a 250 or 350 would be quite higher, due to most people using 450's for commercial work. Try Progressive, I pay around $1000/year for full coverage on my 05.
