Extreme home makeover

they did a house for a couple in birmingham last year or 2 years ago.

it caused a bid stink on the news and papers, because there was a lot of people that thought they were more deserving than the couple that was chosen.

the couple had like 6 kids, house was fallilng apart, the usually kinda stuff.

some folks just cant be happy for someone that gets helped out, too much jealousy goin on.

The truck was a crewcab dually. I think they gave it to the son for his military service. He is like 20 or 21 did 2 tours in the sandbox, if I remember correctly. Keith

im all for helping folks out...as long as theyre not free loading...i get the
feeling alot of folks have figured out this game and how to get stuff for
FREE.

I stopped doing a charitable event because i felt they were pimping
the kids (w/ cancer) WAY TOO MUCH...i KNEW why i was there...and
i had already giving my contribution...i didnt need to be EMOTIONALLY
squeezed for more by bringing kids up on stage who had visible
illnesses.

I still (btw) give to the organization...i just dont attend anymore.

i have no idea bush, i didnt even get to see the show when it aired.

there are few here that would earn 4-5 superduties for time served. boy wouldnt that be a kicker...
they should have made over bethesda and walter reed......new toilets, fresh paint, WATER and sewer etc etc
