Extended Warranty

Funny, We're Neighbors, I'm in Fairfield.. My Warranty started the day I signed the papers..

Howdy neighbor,,not sure if it makes a difference but I bought a used truck and then bought the warranty after I talked to a friend who worked at Ford and said I should get it.
I was told it was 7 years or 75000 miles whichever comes first except when I went to use it before the 7 years was up that's when I was told it started the day the truck is built.
since I bought the truck in 2013 that means the warranty was actually a 4-year warranty

What did the paperwork say? I've only had to use the one aftermarket warranty and all the dates on the paperwork lined up when I bought it.
