Expedition question

Ive got a high mileage 03 Expedition........... here in the last couple of weeks its developed a burp or fart noise and it only seems to be on a cold start. Sounds (feels) like it is coming from the ABS system, anybody have any experience?

at startup the ABS system cycles. I'm going to guess that you prob just have some old fluid in the system and it's got a bit of crud it in so the valves are sounding a bit funny.

The unit is located on most trucks on the framerail under the driver's feet (I think that's where it is on those) there's a bleeder valve on that I'd try bleading the system good if you haven't already.

For a check you can unplug the electrical conection (will set error light) but see if that eliminates the problem.
