Anyone have any ideas....
My truck has 160k, I just installed AFE Stage 1 and MBRP 4" turbo back system and there was no noticable power difference. I wasn't expecting a dragster, but I was expecting something. The sound difference is barely noticable from stock/walker exhaust. I think I am having injector issues from what I've read in previous post. The #8 injector(closet to driver side firewall) is making a loud noise, and who knows if thats the only one? Has anyone had issue like this or know where I should begin? I can't afford new injectors, does anyone rebuild them thereselves. Also, is there any way this could be an electrical/sensor issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You wont notice a seat of the pants performance gain with the intake/exhaust upgrades. What you will notice is cleaner oil samples, longer engine life (better inlet air filtration) and lower EGT's while under heavy throttle.

I cant comment on your injector issue as I dont have enough info.

I agree with Mike. By your Signature, you have now.. with the exhaust & intake.. Opened Up your 7.3 and let it breath and done some things that will pro-long it's life.

It's now, more <Efficient> than ever before... but not necessarily.. More Powerful.... in the sense of snap'n yer head back.. when you Git On It.

In order to feel That difference ? you may need/want to consider a Chip, or Programmer, and maybe a different Turbo Compressor wheel.... to take Full Advantage of what you've done, so far.

Injector noise ? the HPX, Fuel pump inlet QD delete and running a 1oz to 1 gallon mix of 2 cycle oil can reduce that.. ALOT. All are relatively inexpensive Mods too.

the big power gains with exhaust and intake mods come hand and hand with the newfound ability to pump more fuel into it.

with just in/ex mods, a little extra power is "freed" up by eliminating the parasitic "pumping" the engine had to do with the restrictive designs.

as stated before, the lower egt's and cleaner running are huge benefits!
