Aeroturbine
Okay Guyz'n Galz'n Scott.. i'm guna throw this in here. Not mentioned much on SDD, might be a "Pandora's Box" for some, so be gentle ?
@ about 20K, went I did my 4" stuff, I installed an AeroTubine (resonator). Goes on right at the bottom of the down-pipe where it bends toward the back.
Takes advantage of the Post turbo pressures & flow, and acts basically like an Exstractor.. on a 2 cycle. kinda Sucks the exhaust away as throttle inputs increase ?
I Swear by the dang thing. I'm Hard Pressed to get EGT's over 900*.. no matter the pull, up a grade.
AND.. it removes the Turbo "Chuff" from the exhaust note.
My 4" set-up goes on thru a MagnaFlow and out, via a Turn-down tip.
I've gotten many'a compliment on the Healthy, Throaty.. but Not Loud.. sound my 7.3 makes.. as I go by folks... with my Foot In It. (like at rest Stops'n such) (stop lights too)
