Exhaust hiss

I put on a Magnaflow 4" turbo back, no cat. The exhaust at the tip now sounds like a giant hiss, kind of like a leaking tire. Is this normal?

have some one rev it up while u stand at the pipe....does it sound like a jet dryer???

Yeah, Yeah, I know.. It wasn't noticeable before, and I wasn't sure. Sure sounds kinda funny though.

it`s normal. mine does the same, but only at idle....

I was caught off guard by the loudness of the turbo in the exhaust, too. Especially when it got cold enough to run in high idle. I have the same 4" magnaflow turbo back exhaust. Sounds amazing doesn't it?!?!

I thought the same thing when I installed my duals. You'll actually grow to love that hissing sound.

how is the 03 turbo different than the 05?
