Just trying to get some feedback on exhaust systems that are out there. Here are a couple I am looking at Banks, Magna Flow, and MRBP.

Also not sure about removing the catalytic converter. I use my truck for towing mostly, very little around town driving.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

i have a mbrp
aslo had a magna flow, both systems seem to be pretty good quality. install for the mbrp in the 6.0 is a challenge to get everything away from touching body welds and bolt heads, but it can be done with a little massaging of the tubes.
egts drpped easily 250-300 towing, 200 ish empty, sounds nice
as far as the kitty, check your local laws,
i dropped mine to test for plugged up kitty and egts and a HISSY noise (even with wife in house) :D upon accelleration

magnaflow doesnt have a complete turbo back kit that allows use of the kitty, MBRP does, it bolts right in with the kit for the turbo back, mark craig (dpp) hooked me up with a fair deal and speedy delivery, he is a sponsor here

I got four letters for you friend.

M-B-R-P.

Mine looks perfect now that I tack-welded it in place. I wouldn't have been so picky but it's the dual exhaust and i didn't want one side hangin'.

Another vote for MBRP. Fit and finish is great and the price is better then most. It may take a couple of days to get the system adjusted so that it doesn't rub anywhere but it will be well worth it.:sweet

Check out ATS (Advanced Turbo Systems). They make a stainless 4" single and dual, turbo-back and cat-back systems. Cheaper then MBRP (I think) too. I've been running their dual turbo-back on my '00 for 5 years. Fit great, still looks good.

jascot,

If you're like most you want to keep the cat to keep Ford off your back if you ever need them. The MBRP and AFE systems allow the cat to be totally stock with no mods and bolt in and out if you elect to get one of their cat test pipes. The Banks makes you saw the front off the cat, don't know how Ford would feel about that, the Magnaflow has now method to install the cat. The MBRP and AFE bolt it in with two bolts and one clamp just like stock!! Call us if you have any questions we have'em in stock!!
