Thanks. I looked at a lot of trucks and this was by far the best. We paid thru the nose to get it though. The dealer knew they had a nice truck and wanted a bundle for it, about a grand over NADA value. The interior is pretty good, not as nice as the outside but just fine. 136K. My neighbor who is a diesel mechanic looked it over and said it was in great shape mechanically... acceptable blow by, good power, good drivetrain at least. It only has the bumper hitch, no GN or 5er. It also has class C tires, and its supposed to have class D. The tire guy said they would be fine, just don't put a 15K trailer on it, and it also means they probably didn't load it down. It has the holes where the brakets go to hold an in bed camper, I bet thats why they had a 1 ton truck but didn't really haul with it. Inside the bed has some scratches but really very minimal for a truck. I really like the old body style too. But I've already driven it around in the rain and it looks bad already even though it was waxed. Gotta clean it up so I can get a picture of all three trucks, I have a red one, a white one, and a blue one!

By the way... where do I find the data plate that tells me the gears and such? Looked for 10 min and couldn't find it.

on teh rear diff cover thare should be a data plate hangin gout it will have a 3l73 or a 4.10 or a 4ls.10 something to that effect
aslo over in the wiki there is a vin decoder and it will break it down as well
or if none of that works....
lift up teh rear and turn the driveshaft by hand and count the number of turns it take to make one revolution of the tire
then you wil have the answer

still is sharp looking ride, if only they could have squeezed the 6.0 and tq shift into the obs, we wouldnt need a new body change :D
