Had the Ex towed to the local Ford dealership. They've had it for 3 days, still not fixed. They replaced the EGR valve then ran the batteries dead trying to start it. That's all i have so far.

Got the truck back today. It was the Fuel Injection Module. thank goodness it was still under the 100,000 mile warranty.

Fuel Injection Module on a 7.3L? I hadn't heard of that. My problem has recurred, and now the truck died in traffic with a load of lumber. I have tried two new CPS, remove chip, etc. Gonna hafta bite the bullet and get the service dept in on this.
When the dealer kills your batteries and starter, do you have to fork over the $$$?
