Like the title says, my truck has a hitch in its giddy-up.

The truck is fully warmed up when this seems to happen - I will be going down the road between 30-45 mph and the truck hiccups, sputters or misses. Its only partially noticable, not very repeatable and when you give it throttle it goes away and has normal power, seems to be particular to slight load, incline when I notice it or changes in throttle position.

I am going to pick up a spare CPS as I just got the recall letter a few weeks ago. I am afraid of problems like HPOP and IDM (which friends have just gone through)

The truck runs well other than this, I have recently started using the ford cetane booster (ran 3 or 4 tanks with it in, no problems, then recently this started to occur)

Truck is due for glow plugs, injector o-rings and fuel filter but I am hoping for good weather before I attempt these. My truck doesnt fit in many garages.

Its a 99.5 7.3 DRW

Funny you posted this today. Mine hiccuped twice today never done it before and about 100 miles in between. It happened at the same spot on the highway just in different directions one side slight incline the other slight decline. :dunno It goes in tomorrow for the cps recall. Hopefully that is all it is.

have it scanned and make sure it doesn't have a TPS code in it.
