engine is surging under a load..

got my new truck. i'm pulling my camper and the engine is making a surging/fluttering sound. It feels as though I'm going through big puddles of water on the road, but the road is dry. I'm sure this was discussed somewhere on here, but I can't find any info.. can someone please help me figure out what is going on..any info as to what this could be would be great...
the previous owner had 2 injectors replaced, it has 98,500 miles on it, and we're currently on a 1,000 mile trip. Really need to figure this out while still under warrenty.

The earlier symptoms that I was talking about seem to be happing when I get around 2k rpms. I am pulling a 36 foot toy hauler weighing about 14k lbs, I filled up 2 times on the way down and one fill up I got 10 mpg and the next I got 8 mpg. I would have thought it would have gotten better milage then that.

Could this be a turbo going out or injectors????????????????????????????

I am new to diesels so I am lost help.

Light Surge after Turbo Replacement:
2004-2006 engines that exhibit a light surge on light acceleration up to 50 MPH, typically after a cold start, at steady speeds between 1800-2800, or when climbing a grade (towing or not), may have a sticking Variable Geometry Turbo actuator. If diagnosis leads to replacement of the VGT actuator, the turbo lube oil line--P/N 3C3Z-9T516-BA; should be replace as well. Broadcast Message 4459, TSB 05-21-5.

I too just got my 1st diesel, and have many question's and the same as you am having problem's, I'm lucky to have warrenty left, but I know how frustrating it can be. I found this website very helpfull, and infromatible.

Hello Mxrider go to the stealership and bitch and complain make them make a Note on the Oasis report then you have That. Then your 1000 Miles or so left will be extended thats what I did on my Last diesel. My new one has has no Problems Knock on wood Scott
