If the SES light goes off and back on, it may be an overboost or running out of HPO (or could be ICP error, too) ...codes will tell for sure.

Do you have the 10K installed now?

If the 10k is installed, it can trip the ICP low code. Even if the SES is not on, codes may be stored.

I took the hose off and took a couple pics of the wheel. It looks chipped to me but there's no play in it.

That turbine wheel has seen a fair amount of dirt and other junk. Get a new wheel, that one is shot. Why the rust?

I dont think its the CPS because I recently changed it and the engine only died the one time, now it's just a power loss. The SES light only comes on under extended acceleration but then goes back off.

if the light came on - it set a code and should remain in the system whether the light is still on or not - You local AutoZone should have a scanner and will be able to pull up the codes on their PCs. have you thought about removing the 10K for troubleshooting? it is possible the CPS went bad already - have heard of em being faulty out of the package.

Get the codes read and let us know -
