2000 F-250 7.3L Auto trans 4x4 with cabover camper and 20' flatbed trailer.

OK, need to figure this out before the sun goes down. Last night, coming home from a trip, had a blowout on the trailer. Already went through spare, so had to pull trailer off and go into town. When I got back, plugged trailer in WITHOUT turning off truck lights....Now I have no brake lights, turn signals, emergency lights, AND O/D light flashes where the button is, Anti-Lock brake light comes on. Still has running lights.

I have checked fuses and dont see anything wrong.

Please help, need to get going by the time the sun goes down.

Thank you

When you say you have no brake lights, turn signals, etc. Is that on the truck or trailer (or both), and does everything go back to normal when you unhook the trailer?

The light problems are with the truck, camper and trailer. Nothing happens when I disconnect everything.

Is there a fuse that controls the areas I am having problems with. I have check under the drivers side cab, as well and under the hood.

I am not the most mechanical, so this has me really confused.

I've seen trailer wiring problems "feed back" into the truck, for instance if you have a brake light and your tail lights shorted out together, your running lamps would come on when you apply the brake....

It sounds like the truck though, if unhooking the trailer doesn't fix the problem.

Did you check your manual for the fuse location? Sorry I'm not more help...your truck is too new for me... Someone else will chime in soon I'm sure.

damm theres GOT to be a fuse blown...more than one i suspect...
check the truck side of the trailer/connection plug(s)...could be
something shorted there too.

and make sure you check the trailer side plug too...

dont TRUST looking at those fuses...get a meter and test 'em (ive had
more than one blow that i couldnt SEE that it was actually blown).

now when i blow a fuse i replace 'em w/ THESE the fuses
LIGHT UP when theyre blown <makes it easy to find the blown one>
