I am looking for the electrical diagrams for a f-350 2004 automatic 4x4. The backup lights do not work, fuse is not burnt out ,nor lights, nor relay ,by-passed relay with manual switch ,go into reverse ,hit switch voila lights and back up horn. Need to see if there is another contact on steering column or a switch on transmission.:thanks

Reverse Lights don't work

Jim,

Did you find out what fixed your back up lights? My don't work- all the fuses to the left and below the steering column are good and new bulbs don't fix it.

Jim,up north the wires come off of the transmission reverse switch and go to the reverse lights. They are Bk/Pk (Black/Pink) in color. That is all there is to the circuit.

back-up lights

There is also a relay in the fuse box , which may be staying open . Which was my problem ! More than likely this what is causing your back up lights not to work.
Jim:)
