Firstly i would like to comment on what a great site this is...i have been browsing for a few days...as the new owner of a superduty and have pulled a ton of information off of here so thank you. and as a first time diesel owner all the info is much needed...so now my question is there one bank or cylinder on the powerstroke that runs considerably hotter than the other, so i could place my senor there? i have heard that there is a definite hot cylinder with the cummins...i wasnt sure if there was one with the ps...second question is i have read about shimming up a fuel pressure regulator or somthing to increase the fuel pressure but have not seen any how to information on it? anyone have any ideas on this mod? thanks again for any help.

plans for the new truck (only 32000miles by the waty :burnit )
-afe stage 2
-mbrp 4" duals
-sonnax spring and tricumalator tranny kit
-d-p 6 pos chip

plus any other helpful ideas you may have.

Just mount in the drivers side manifild at the collector. Allows you to monitor all four cylinders, and testing that I've seen with a probe in each bank has pretty much proved that they are both the same, all other things equal.

Redmond, Or huh... I live in Bend... you need any help let me know!!! There are a few of us here... Drop me a note...

As far as the pyro, here is a good shot of where to mount it... This is a drill and clamp method but if your drilling and taping the manafold, just move to it and go for it...

Cmon guys lets give the noob a welcome too.
As for a hot hole never heard of one either and looks like they got you covered on the pyro install. I live in hermiston, far as I know there is only a hand full of oregonians on here.

Welcome to SDD OneFastFord. Glad you stopped by. There is no one cylinder that runs hotter that the rest, so your information is good.

Welcome to the site.
It looks like your questions have been answered.

I know where Redmond, Or is. That is where I lived before I moved to Alaska in 94'. Lived there from 85'-94.
