you guys ost me on this one, i have seen the delete kits that have a block off plate, basically thats all i did

I am afraid you just did a full time EGR cycle you have nothing stopping the exhaust gases from entering the intake ,, Unless I missed something else that you did

What do you have?
A full delete kit replaces your up pipe with a new one that has no kick off to the EGR cooler that you would also remove so forth and so on. If you do not have a FULL delete and you just blocked off where the EGR valve went then you are pissing in the wind......and letting more crap go threw your engine.
