Question EGR Delete Recommendation

I have done a lot of reading about deleting the EGR/Cooler on my rig and would like to hear what everyone recommends about doing it and what kit you prefer. When I delete the EGR/Cooler does there need to be reprogramming??

If u delete it u will need a tuner to get rid of the check engine light - Bulletproof diesel makes a replacement cooler that fits right in and doesn't break. Plus u wont get a CEL - The age of emissions is upon us....

I unplugged mine and i got no CEL, however i think the ford dealer did something to the computer when i took it in for its 3rd EGR cooler in 80,000 miles. Thank the good lord for warranties

Bought mine from MKM Customs, great price and quality parts ,IMO. Took about 7 hours taking my time. I did not have to reprogram anything and no check engine light. Mines an '04.
