2014 F350, using a the EZ Lynk Tuner with Tunes where the emissions are "lost". All HP's from 30 - 200.
I've searched and I just can't find the answer.
Is it necessary to install the EGR blockoff plate? My kit contained a single plate, I believe for the input side. I haven't installed it yet. My truck runs great and doesn't throw any codes. I think i'm just nervous at breaking a stud. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but not a diesel mechanic. I'd take it to a shop and let them do a full delete, but no one seems to do that anymore.
But am I causing harm to it?
I'm not looking for input on a full EGR delete. I want to keep it simple. I am going to do the SCR and DPF delete, as I have those parts.
Thanks.
